Accident near the village of Malishka: Both drivers hospitalized

On January 28, at 19:36, a call was received by the "911" service reporting an accident on the Yeghegnadzor-Vaik highway, near the village of Malishka, and that the assistance of rescuers was needed.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations' press service, one firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that vehicles involved in the collision on the 126th km of the M-2 highway (Yerevan-Meghri section) were an "Opel Zafira" (driver: A.S., born in 1974) and a "VAZ 21010" (driver: R.A., born in 1977).

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the drivers were taken to the hospital in Yeghegnadzor, where doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.

Rescuers disconnected the vehicles' batteries and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
