Video: Citizen Attempts to Steal Clothing

The Investigative Committee of Armenia is taking measures to identify an individual who allegedly attempted to steal clothing from a store in one of Yerevan's shopping centers.

On October 1, 2018, at around 9:00 PM, a person committed an apparent crime in a clothing store within the shopping center, attempting to steal clothing but was unable to complete the act due to circumstances beyond their control.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Shengavit division of the Armenian Police under Article 34-177, part 1, of the Criminal Code of Armenia, with the investigation being conducted by the Shengavit division of the Investigative Committee. During the investigation, the recordings from the store's security cameras on that day have been obtained and are under review. To ensure a comprehensive, objective, and thorough investigation, measures are being taken to locate the young man depicted in the video.

The Investigative Committee requests the mentioned individual to present himself to the investigating authority or for anyone who recognizes him or has any information regarding his identity or whereabouts to inform the Shengavit division of the Investigative Committee in Yerevan.
