This is the First Time in My Conscious Life: Pashinyan's Controversial Statement

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated: “For the first time in my conscious life, I stopped having daily prayers after November 8, 2020. After that, I have been on a prolonged fast, not eating bread or drinking water for a week.”

He noted that representatives of the "triumvirate" party from the war have not even read half of the Gospels. He has started to memorize the psalms out of a necessity to fill the spiritual void.

“Is there a person for whom these topics are not emotional? If there is such a person, especially. I am not surprised that a person like Robert Kocharyan has no emotion. He is a cold-blooded murderer; why should he have emotions? A cold-blooded murderer, where he belongs is prison, and gradually the emotions will begin to return there. Or why should Gagik Tsarukyan have emotions? How can Kyarpinch have emotions? Or why should the Kaluga oligarch have emotions? Does artificial intelligence have emotions?” he said.

Pashinyan reiterated the idea that Armenia has fallen into a trap due to the Karabakh movement: “Step by step, I have understood that Armenia has fallen into a trap due to the Karabakh movement, and we must get out of that trap. And I am glad that I have managed to bring Armenia out of that trap. Today, I see that people, in the logic of espionage, want to take Armenia back into that trap.”
