Yerevan Atmosphere Affected Zelensky: Zakharova
The spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has stated that the anti-Russian atmosphere at the European summit held in Yerevan has influenced Vladimir Zelensky's threats.
During a press briefing, Zakharova commented on the event in Armenia in the context of Kyiv's threats regarding a strike on Red Square on May 9. According to her, it is evident that the Russophobic environment of the European Political Community summit held in Yerevan on May 4, which Zelensky attended at the invitation of the Armenian side, has had an impact on him.
Zakharova emphasized that no participant of the summit reprimanded Zelensky or condemned him for his sacrilege, despite his display of hatred and disdain for the great victory over Nazism.
Additionally, the Russian Foreign Ministry representative noted the hysterical and nervous reaction to Putin's initiative to establish a ceasefire in Kyiv on May 8-9.
