Attack on Shengavit Administrative Staff

An attack occurred on the staff of the Shengavit administrative district, one of whom was beaten and sustained injuries to the head, requiring hospitalization. This incident followed the staff's visit to a part of the administrative district where a campaign poster of the Prosperous Armenia Party had been illegally installed, exceeding the permitted volume of 5 square meters. During the dismantling process, presumably due to someone's 'alert,' defenders of the poster's integrity arrived on the scene and decided to resolve the issue using 'old and good' methods, resulting in injuries and assault.

The city authorities remind that any violation of the law is recorded and receives an immediate response, and no one can be an exception to this. Any such manifestation will receive the sternest response from the Yerevan City Hall. Law enforcement agencies are already investigating the circumstances of the incident, and our colleagues at the Ministry of Internal Affairs will later provide additional details.
