Who Will Receive New Social Housing? Torosyan Provides Details

The Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, has posted a video on his social media page addressing the 96th point of the ruling party's pre-election program regarding the creation of 1,000 new social housing units.

“Our ministry has a social housing fund. Currently, we have about 200 apartments, and we plan to increase this number to 1,000 to provide for families in need,” the minister stated.

Torosyan also mentioned that the list and conditions for the housing will be revised and that work is currently in progress.

“Many former state property buildings are now being converted into social housing, and we are also developing a concept for creating new apartments. This is another important program for our vulnerable citizens, who will temporarily live in social housing before eventually securing permanent accommodation. The program has already begun,” Torosyan detailed.
