Immediate Expulsion Process Must Begin Without Delay: Medvedev on Certain Foreigners

The Russian Federation plans to implement an immediate expulsion mechanism for migrants with dangerous diseases. This announcement was made by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, following a meeting of the interagency commission.

According to him, a legislative initiative package has already been developed, which will enable quick decisions regarding foreigners whose presence in the country may be deemed undesirable. Medvedev emphasized that the adoption of these laws should not be delayed.

The official noted that relevant authorities must ensure the rapid detection of dangerous diseases among foreigners. In such cases, he stated, the expulsion process must be activated immediately, without unnecessary delays.

The proposed measures aim to tighten control over migration flows and reduce potential risks related to public health.
