Ovechuk Warns: In That Case, Air Communication Between Russia and Armenia Will Be Suspended
Ofelya
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Ovechuk has stated that if Armenia joins the European Union, air communication with Russia could cease. He made this remark during a broadcast on Russia's "First Channel."
"Currently, there is no aviation communication with EU countries, meaning we will not have aviation communication with Armenia," he emphasized.
The Russian official indicated that Armenian citizens must be aware of the potential consequences that could arise from such a political decision. He noted that public awareness on this issue is crucial.
At the same time, Ovechuk added that it remains unclear what outcomes joining the European Union could have for Armenia.
