Metro Workers' Strike Paralyzes Transport System in London

A strike by metro workers has begun in London, leading to restrictions on transport services in all directions. According to a correspondent from RIA Novosti, this has paralyzed the city's transport system.

The National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT) announced the protest action back in March. The workers’ dissatisfaction stems from working conditions and demanding schedules. A planned strike at the end of March was previously canceled to allow negotiations with management.
