Tragic Car Accident on Charentsavan-Fantan Road: One Fatality and Several Injured

On April 2, at 23:11, a call was received at the Kotayk regional operational management center reporting an accident on the Charentsavan-Fantan highway at the 2nd kilometer. Emergency assistance was required. This was reported by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that two "Mercedes-Benz" vehicles had collided. One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver and four injured individuals were transported to a medical center.

Rescue workers secured the area, disconnected the vehicle batteries, and closed the valves on gas cylinders. The body of the driver from one of the "Mercedes-Benz" vehicles was transferred to the body removal vehicle, and cleaning operations on the road were carried out.
