VIDEO: Police Flee the Scene During Shooting in Kyiv

A video has surfaced online showing police fleeing from a gunman during a terrorist attack that occurred in Kyiv yesterday. They left civilians unprotected, including a child. A service inspection will be conducted, announced Ukraine's Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko, as reported by RBC-Ukraine.

The footage published by eyewitnesses reveals officers fleeing upon hearing the sound of gunfire. Moreover, the police abandoned civilians, specifically leaving a child at risk. The video also shows the terrorist shooting at a man while a minor boy attempts to escape.

Klimenko has already reacted to the incident. The Minister instructed Ivan Vygovskyi, head of the National Police of Ukraine, to conduct a service investigation regarding the actions of the police during the terrorist attack in Kyiv. He noted that the National Police will disclose the results and decisions of the investigation promptly. During the investigation, police officers have been removed from their duties.
