Changes Proposed to Driver's License Examination Regulations
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has presented a draft amendment to the Government’s decree, aiming to make the process of obtaining a driver's license more flexible and equitable.
According to the police department of the Ministry, the proposed draft, which is open for public discussion, suggests extending the maximum period for participating in the practical phase of the examination to two years after passing the theoretical exam, instead of the current one year. This change will provide citizens with more time to prepare for practical skills and will alleviate issues related to time constraints.
The new regulations will also alter the content of the theoretical examination; the test questions will solely pertain to the specific regulations or sub-regulations, making the examination process more targeted. This initiative is part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' commitment to improving the quality of services offered.
The adoption of these regulations aims to enhance the effectiveness of obtaining a driver’s license, ensure legal clarity, and uphold fairness and flexibility in the organization of examinations.
