VIDEO: He Needs Treatment, Says Samvel Karapetyan

«I did not expect any other decision from this government,» said Samvel Karapetyan, the president of the ‘Strong Armenia’ party, during a conversation with journalists in court regarding the extension of his detention period.

“He needs treatment,” Karapetyan responded to a reporter's question regarding Prime Minister Pashinyan’s statement that “if he does not come to power, there will be a war.”

It is noteworthy that Samvel Karapetyan has been in custody for exactly 10 months, since June 18, 2025. Also, the court has extended his house arrest by 3 months.
