Iran's Foreign Ministry Issues Statement
The Armenian Embassy in Lebanon continues to operate under emergency conditions. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The hotlines established by the embassy remain operational: +961 3 157 305, +961 3 536 041. Lebanon's airspace is open, with direct flights from Beirut to Yerevan taking place twice a week.
Regular meetings are being held with Armenian citizens in Lebanon to discuss potential challenges arising from the developments and any additional necessary actions.
On April 17, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the establishment of a 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon, made possible through the mediation efforts of the U.S. President, which is an important step towards reducing tensions in the situation. The Ministry expressed hope that this development would contribute to the establishment of comprehensive and lasting peace in the region, with respect for the territorial integrity of the parties involved," the ministry stated.
