VIDEO: How much longer must 'kebab' be distributed for the CEC not to register it? – Arthur Hovhannisyan

Ani S.

Recently, various law enforcement agencies have been uncovering instances of electoral fraud or violations of charity rules aimed at materially incentivizing voters. The scale of these violations is, essentially, quite significant at this stage.

“How much longer must people continue distributing kebabs, televisions, and epilators, and incentivize people for various services? To what extent must these violations reach for these forces not to be registered?” Arthur Hovhannisyan, the secretary of the ruling party faction in the National Assembly, asked the CEC chairman during a parliamentary session.

In response, Vahagn Hovakimyan stated, “As long as the registration of a political force, party is not suspended, meaning it operates as a party, not only the CEC but also the territorial election commission in local elections has no right not to register it if the necessary documents are submitted by the party.”
