Earthquake in Azerbaijan
This morning, two earthquakes with a magnitude of over 3 occurred in the Caspian Sea, near the shores of Azerbaijan. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the republican center of the seismological service.
“Today at 5:43 AM (Moscow time), an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.2 occurred at a depth of 50 km in the Caspian Sea. Shortly after, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 occurred at a depth of 32 km,” the statement said.
It is worth reminding that on April 8 and 9, six earthquakes of magnitudes ranging from 3.3 to 5.3 occurred in the Caspian Sea near the shores of Azerbaijan. On April 12, another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 occurred at a depth of 74 km in the Caspian Sea.
