Peter Madiar Promises to Restore Hungary's Position in the EU and NATO

The leader of the winning 'Tisa' party in Hungary's parliamentary elections, Peter Madiar, has announced a radical change in the country's foreign and domestic political course. During a rally held in Budapest, the politician emphasized that his priority will be to restore Hungary's status as a full-fledged and reliable member of the European Union and NATO.

According to Madiar, the country must return to the path of democratic development and ensure the independence of state institutions. After assuming office as Prime Minister, Madiar plans to intensify diplomatic communications with European institutions and partner countries.

He has already had phone conversations with the leaders of Germany, France, and Croatia, as well as the president of the European Commission and the NATO Secretary General. Madiar stressed that Hungary will no longer be a puppet of any force and will strive for a balanced and sovereign European policy.

One of the primary foreign policy steps of the new government will be to normalize relations with Poland, for which Madiar will make his first official visit to Warsaw. The agenda also includes the activation of regional cooperation within the Visegrád Group and visits to Vienna and Brussels.

Special attention will be given to resolving the issue of unblocking financial resources from the EU budget and special funds that were previously frozen by Brussels.
