US Defense Secretary Claims Mojtaba Khamenei Has Been 'Wounded and Deformed'

The US Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, has made a series of statements regarding Iran, claiming that Mojtaba Khamenei has been 'wounded and deformed'. He further stated that Iran has been a threat to the United States and what he termed the 'free world' for 47 years, and according to him, that phase has now come to an end.

According to Hegseth, under the terms of the signed agreement, Iran will never possess nuclear weapons, all nuclear materials will be removed from the country, and monitoring will be implemented on a round-the-clock basis.

The Pentagon chief also referred to operations known as 'Midnight Hammer' and 'Epic Fury', declaring that during these operations more than 800 strikes were conducted, completely destroying Iran's defense industry base. He added that if Tehran rejects the proposed terms, the next targets could include power plants and bridges.

Hegseth also expressed gratitude to Israel, calling it a brave and reliable ally. Additionally, he announced that the Strait of Hormuz, previously closed by Iranian armed forces, has been reopened, and trade will be restored.
