Israeli Foreign Ministry Issues Statement

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has issued a statement condemning the attack on its consulate in Istanbul.

“We strongly condemn the attack on the Israeli consulate in Istanbul today. We thank the Turkish security forces for their prompt response in preventing the attack. Israeli diplomatic missions around the world have faced numerous threats and terrorist attacks. Terrorism will not intimidate us,” the statement emphasizes.

It is noted that today there was gunfire near the Israeli consulate in Istanbul. Two police officers were injured, one assailant was killed, and two others were arrested.
