Those Who Committed State Treason Deserve No Mercy: Narek Karapetyan

Those who have committed state treason regarding Artsakh and other issues must be punished. This was stated by Narek Karapetyan, a member of the "Strong Armenia" party.

"The two main challenges facing Armenia are poverty and security, which are directly related to having a strong economy. Armenia needs a leader who understands how to bring the country back from scratch and raise it. The war showed that only a strong economy can ensure defense capabilities and prevent emigration," Karapetyan said, emphasizing that the country needs an economist as its leader.

Referring to the internal political situation and the investigation of the war circumstances, Narek Karapetyan stressed that the process should be fair but without labeling people as 'former' or 'current.'

"We should not go after people just because they were with the ruling party, as they are doing now. However, there is one precondition: those who have committed state treason regarding Artsakh and other issues deserve no mercy. They must be punished," concluded Karapetyan.
