Evacuated Russian Specialists from Iranian Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant to Depart from Yerevan: Likhachov
Evacuated Russian specialists from the Iranian Bushehr nuclear power plant are set to depart from Yerevan's airport. This was announced by Alexey Likhachov, the General Director of the Rosatom State Corporation, during a working visit to Yekaterinburg.
Earlier, the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization reported that the territory of the Bushehr nuclear power plant had come under fire from the United States and Israel, resulting in one employee's death.
According to Likhachov, buses carrying Russian specialists left the Bushehr site approximately 20 minutes after the American-Israeli strikes. It is anticipated that they will safely traverse nearly the entire territory of Iran within 2.5 to 3 days.
He also mentioned that the Iranian side is making significant efforts to ensure the safety of the evacuation route for the Russian specialists. Additionally, the relevant services of Israel and the United States have been informed about the evacuation of Russian specialists from the Bushehr nuclear power plant.
