Azerbaijan Expects Tehran to Fulfill Promises: Bayramov

Azerbaijan is awaiting Tehran to fulfill its promises, conduct a thorough investigation into the incident involving a drone strike on Nakhchivan, and take measures to prevent the recurrence of such situations. This statement was made by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a consultative meeting of foreign ministers in Riyadh.

“Azerbaijan expects that the guarantees provided by Iran regarding a comprehensive investigation of the incident will be fulfilled, and necessary measures will be taken to prevent similar cases in the future,” Bayramov said.

The minister also emphasized the urgent need to respond to the serious crisis existing in the Middle East. According to him, the consequences of escalation surpass the boundaries of individual countries, creating broader regional and global risks and endangering the lives of civilians and infrastructure.

Recall that on March 5, drones flying from Iranian territory struck infrastructure in Nakhchivan, resulting in injuries to four civilians.
