Baku Promises to Respond to Attack on Nakhchivan: Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has announced that the drone attack on Nakhchivan carried out by Iran will not go unanswered. This was stated in a message released by the ministry.

According to the ministry, the technical specifications of the drones used during the attack, as well as other details of the strikes, are currently being analyzed.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has condemned the strikes against civilian infrastructure within the country's territory, emphasizing that they were carried out by the Iranian armed forces without any military necessity.

The message also states that the entire responsibility for the incident lies with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Azerbaijani defense department has also informed that measures are being prepared to defend the country's territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as to ensure the safety of the civilian population and infrastructure.
