Three Key Directions: Karapetyan Issues a Statement

Armenia must cease its politics of pleading for peace and shift towards protecting its own interests. This was stated in the message by Samvel Karapetyan, the Prime Minister candidate of the "Strong Armenia" party and businessman.

"It is time for a strong peace, tomorrow will be too late. A well-known rule is that war comes where there is no strength; a weak army provokes the enemy, while a strong army maintains peace. Peace is not begged for, it is maintained by strength," Karapetyan reminded.

According to him, the party’s program outlines three main directions: a powerful army, knowledgeable politics, and an independent economy. The political figure noted that the state begins at its borders, and love for the homeland does as well. Therefore, borders must be invulnerable, reconnaissance centers must operate using UAVs, and analysis should be implemented with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), Karapetyan stated, adding that recent wars have proven that victory on land is impossible if the sky is not protected.

"Armenia will speak with the world from a position of confidence and strength, our foreign policy will be pragmatic and balanced, our negotiations between East and West will be clear, maintaining our red lines. We will continue dialogue with our strategic partners, while simultaneously deepening ties with other superpowers and countries," Karapetyan continued, adding that he will use his experience and connections to serve Armenia.

He emphasized that relations in the region will be based on mutual benefit, rather than one-sided concessions. Karapetyan also declared that peace is not achieved through weakness, but rather ensured through strength. "We offer a strong, long-term peace," he concluded.
