Iran Awaits Decisive Actions from the International Community: Araqchi

Iran is awaiting decisive actions from the international community, stated Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi during a phone conversation with the UN Secretary-General.

“Silence or a weak response could lead to further destabilization in the region and an escalation of tensions. Considering the humanitarian consequences and large-scale damages, we call on the international community and responsible organizations to firmly and unequivocally condemn what has happened,” said the Iranian Foreign Minister.

The UN Secretary-General emphasized the necessity of respecting the principles of international law and the importance of efforts to de-escalate the conflict and mitigate its consequences for the entire region.
