Russia Will Respond Proportionately: Medvedev Threatens Kyiv and Nuclear Arms Supplier Countries
In Russia, it has been announced that data from the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) regarding the transfer of nuclear technologies to Kyiv by France and Great Britain could fundamentally change the situation. This was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, on his Telegram channel.
According to the Russian side's assessment, this is not only a potential violation of international legal norms but also a direct transfer of nuclear weapons to a warring country. The statement emphasizes that such a development will be viewed as a significant change in the existing security environment.
“In the event of such a development, Russia will be forced to use any means, including non-strategic nuclear weapons, against targets in Ukraine that pose a threat to our country. If necessary, it could also be directed against the supplying countries that become accomplices in Russia's nuclear conflict. This is the proportional response that the Russian Federation is entitled to,” added the Security Council's Deputy Chairman.
