Iran is in a Vulnerable Position: We Must Seize This Moment – Kallas

The European Union is striving to address the issue surrounding Iran's nuclear program through diplomatic means. This was stated by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, during a press briefing ahead of the Foreign Affairs Council meeting.

According to her, the escalation of tension in the region is not beneficial for any party, and it is necessary to seize the existing opportunity to find a political solution.

Kallas noted that negotiations between Tehran and Washington are expected soon, which could contribute to the process. “We do not need another war in this region. Iran is currently in a more vulnerable position, and we must use this moment to find a diplomatic solution,” emphasized the head of EU diplomacy.

The European Union continues to stress that the resolution of nuclear issues should be conducted within the framework of negotiations and international cooperation.
