Driver Dies in Accident Near Sasunik
On February 22, at 07:31, the 112 operational management center received information regarding an accident near the village of Sasunik in the Aragatsotn province. The National Emergency Situations Service reported that rescue assistance was required.
A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that a VAZ brand vehicle had veered off the roadway, collided with a power pole, and overturned. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rescuers disconnected the vehicle's power, closed the gas cylinder valve, and with the help of special equipment, removed the driver's body from the vehicle and brought it closer to the ambulance.
