Details on Shooting Incident in Yerevan: Injured and Possible Fatality

On February 18, shots were fired in Yerevan. Around 4:00 PM, operational information was received at the Police Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia regarding shooting at 9 Abelyan Street, leading to injuries.

According to media reports, it was confirmed that the operational information was accurate. Officers from the Mashtots Police Division found that 10 individuals with gunshot wounds were transported to various hospitals in Yerevan.

Investigators from the Yerevan Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia are currently working at the scene in the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts.

Several shell casings from both a submachine gun and a pistol, as well as a bloodstained knife and a Lexus vehicle with bullet marks were discovered at the scene.
