Champions of the Armenian Women's Weightlifting Championship Announced

On the first day of the Armenian Weightlifting Championship, competitors in the women's weight categories of 48 kg to 63 kg and 69 kg to +86 kg took to the platform. This was reported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport (MESCS).

Champions in the eight weight categories of the women's championship are Kristine Babayan (48 kg), Izabella Yalyan (53 kg), Alexandra Grigoryan (58 kg), Natalia Sargsyan (63 kg), Mary Misakyan (69 kg), Anna Amroyan (77 kg), Emma Poghosyan (86 kg), and Tatev Hakobyan (+86 kg).

The winners and medalists were awarded by Araik Harutyunyan, the head of the Prime Minister's office and president of the Armenian Weightlifting Federation, Jeanna Andreasyan, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, and Hasmik Avagyan, the Deputy Minister of MESCS.

The Armenian Weightlifting Championship is being held at the Sports Management Center. Admission is free.
