Eduard Spertsyan on Team Expectations and Goals in the Nations League
The captain of the Armenia national team, Eduard Spertsyan, has spoken about the team's expectations and objectives following the draw for the new Nations League tournament. Armenia has been placed in Group C2 alongside Montenegro, Cyprus, and Latvia (or Gibraltar).
Spertsyan emphasized that the team is motivated and aims to achieve the best possible results. “We are eagerly awaiting the official matches. Upcoming friendly games will help us start our preparations. Our goal is to be well-prepared and to secure first place in the group. We expect interesting games ahead,” said Spertsyan, as quoted by the official press service of the Football Federation of Armenia.
The Nations League competition is set to begin in September 2026, and before that, the national team will hold friendly matches against the national teams of Belarus and the UAE.
