National Anthem to Be Performed Live at State Events: Pashinyan

During state events, the national anthem of the Republic of Armenia must be performed live. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a recent government meeting, presenting the requirements for the anthem's performance.

According to him, every event organized by state bodies must ensure a live performance of the anthem in advance. This can be done either by a choir or an orchestra. The Prime Minister noted that agencies without the appropriate ensembles can invite performers, budgeting for the necessary expenses in the event budget.

Live performances are also encouraged for ceremonial events organized by non-state entities and other organizations. However, if a recording is used, only the officially approved and available version is permitted.

In educational institutions such as kindergartens, schools, and colleges, the performance of the national anthem at the beginning of the academic week is mandated by law. It must be performed with the live participation of students from the institution.
