Vigen Euljekchyan's Health Deteriorates, Risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Reported by Wife

The health of Vigen Euljekchyan, recently returned from Azerbaijani captivity, is deteriorating, as reported by his wife Linda Euljekchyan. In an interview with Faktinfo, she stated that his blood pressure has reached dangerously high levels.

“Doctors say there is a risk of sudden cardiac arrest and he needs heart surgery. Additionally, he has liver problems and a high white blood cell count. The situation is very complex,” she said. Mrs. Anahit Manasyan has provided assistance regarding medical aid, while the Nairi hospital has conducted free examinations.

Linda further mentioned that they are facing issues related to their living situation. “Right now we are staying in a house where there is no social assistance. The situation has worsened significantly. This house has been rented for a month by several friends. However, we have not received any social assistance for paying rent or buying food. I am extremely worried; this situation is deeply unsettling for Vigen, and it is not good for his health,” she added.

She also lamented that he has not yet been able to see their children, expressing, “If my daughter comes, how will I feed her? What will I do?” The constant worrying has caused him psychological distress, and she expressed her embarrassment about their predicament.
