From June 1, Entry to the 'Old Khndzoresk' Historical and Cultural Reserve Will Be Paid
From June 1, entry to the 'Old Khndzoresk' historical and cultural reserve will become paid. This information has been reported by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports through its 'Preservation Service' SNCO.
Efforts to make the Khndzoresk archaeological site more organized and accessible for visitors have been actively underway since last year. Cleaning, improvement, and the creation and enhancement of tourist trails have been carried out. Stone and wooden stairs have been built in the hard-to-access areas connecting Old and New Khndzoresk, and the paths have been marked and equipped with guiding and informational signs.
Groundwork has begun for the installation of an informational modular center. The info center will provide a range of services (guiding, preservation, security, etc.). After the planned improvement and enhancement work is completed, starting from June 1, entry to the 'Old Khndzoresk' historical and cultural reserve will be paid. It has also been noted that the funds generated from ticket sales will be directed towards the preservation and development of the archaeological site.
