Mixed Rain and Light Snow: Situation on Armenia's Roads

As of February 2nd, at 16:30, all interstate and republican highways in Armenia are open. The organizations responsible for road maintenance are continuing their work on clearing and treating the roads with salt and sand.

Light snow is falling in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, and Ashotzk, while mixed rain is observed in the regions of Hrazdan, Sevan, and Gavar. Rain is also falling in the areas of Spitak and Akhuryan.

The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers without the use of snow chains. We urge drivers to remain cautious, strictly adhere to traffic rules, and travel exclusively with winter tires.
