Jay D. Vance's Visit Centers on Launch of TRIPP Initiative: Arman Babajanyan

The president of the 'For the Republic' party, Arman Babajanyan, wrote on Facebook: 'The upcoming visit of U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance to Armenia on February 9 has a clear practical agenda and should be evaluated by the results. At the center of the visit is the launch of the TRIPP initiative as a tangible infrastructure and economic program. This involves specific steps for the initiation of TRIPP, including the establishment of a company responsible for the implementation of the program, defining management and oversight rules, clarifying sources and terms of financing, and assessing safety risks, as well as full readiness to begin construction in phases with clear stages, timelines, and responsibilities.'

'The second direction of the agenda is peaceful nuclear cooperation. The subject of discussion will be the clarification of decisions regarding new nuclear capabilities, including the technology used, financing models, safety standards, timelines, and the development of local professional capacities. This is related to the country's long-term energy stability and the predictability of the system.'

'The third direction involves high technologies—semiconductors and artificial intelligence. Here, a transition is expected from general cooperation frameworks to specific projects, including the development of data centers and computing capabilities, educational and research programs, with the participation of American companies and job creation. The measure of success will be the implementation of infrastructures and professional teams in Armenia.
