Blizzard on Jamshlu-Zilkar Road

The Rescue Service reports that the roads in the territory of Armenia are mostly passable.

However, the roads leading from the "Amberd" mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed.

The section called "Meghru Sar" is closed for vehicles with trailers. The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to traverse for vehicles with trailers due to the blizzard. There is currently a blizzard on the Jamshlu-Zilkar road, and there are patches of black ice on the roads in the Shirak and Kotayk regions.
