Car Leaves Road and Ends Up in Drain: Injuries Reported

On January 31, at 21:19, the crisis management center of the Ararat regional rescue service received a call reporting a traffic accident in Shahumyan village, stating that there were trapped citizens. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a firefighting-rescue unit from the regional rescue service has been dispatched to the scene.

It was discovered that a 'Jeep' vehicle had gone off the roadway at the 30th km mark of the Yerevan-Eraskh highway and ended up in a drain. Rescuers managed to extract the driver and a passenger from the vehicle, after which they were delivered to an ambulance on a stretcher.
