20,000 Evacuated Due to Flooding in Morocco
In the city of El Ksar El Kebir in northern Morocco, 20,000 people have been evacuated due to flooding. Earlier reports indicated that two people died under the rubble of collapsed homes in the northeast region of Morocco, caused by heavy rainfall.
The collapse was attributed to continuous rainfall in Tuanat as well as the dilapidated condition of the buildings. It was also reported that two more houses collapsed due to the intense rains.
