Black Ice Present on Some Roadways

The Emergency Services have reported that the roadways in the Republic of Armenia are mostly passable. However, the roads from the "Amberd" high mountainous meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province are currently closed.

The segment of the Gjumri-Bavra road and the Spitak turns are closed to vehicles with trailers. The Vardenyats Pass (blizzard, snow) is difficult to pass for vehicles with trailers.

Black ice is present on some roadways in Shirak, Kotayk, Armavir, Lori, and Aragatsotn Provinces. Snowfall is being reported in Shirak, Kotayk, Aragatsotn (fog), Ararat, Gegharkunik, and Vayots Dzor Provinces.
