Dense Fog in Vardenyats Pass, Light Snowfall in Several Regions

As of 10:05 AM on January 31, all inter-state and republic significance roads in Armenia are open. This information was reported by the Road Department.

It was noted that the responsible organizations for road maintenance continue to work on clearing the roads and treating them with salt and sand. Light snow is falling in the regions of Masis, Artashat, Ararat, Vayk, Sisian, Sevan, Gavar, and Apaharan.

A dense fog is present in Vardenyats Pass, with visibility reduced to 30-50 meters. Fog is also reported in the Ashtarak region, where visibility is between 80-100 meters. Due to fog and low visibility, Vardenyats Pass is impassable for vehicles with trailers.
