Zelensky Expects New Meetings on Conflict Resolution Next Week
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated that he is eagerly awaiting further meetings within the framework of conflict resolution negotiations.
“We are in constant communication with the American side and expect concrete information from them regarding upcoming meetings. Ukraine is ready to work in all formats. It is important to achieve results and hold meetings. We hope for meetings next week; we are preparing for them,” Zelensky noted.
Zelensky did not specify the exact format of the meetings—whether they would be bilateral talks with Russia and the United States or a new trilateral meeting.
The trilateral working group discussions on security, featuring representatives from Russia, the United States, and Ukraine, concluded in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, on January 24. The UAE government assessed the meeting as positive and constructive, noting that the Russian and Ukrainian delegations engaged in direct communication.
