Slovak Prime Minister's Advisor Resigns Over Epstein Case

The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, has announced that he has accepted the resignation of his advisor Miroslav Lajcak, who is mentioned in documents related to the case of the notorious financier Jeffrey Epstein.

“Miroslav behaved like an excellent diplomat. I accept his proposal to end our cooperation,” Robert Fico said in a video message posted on his social media pages.

In November 2025, it was reported that Miroslav Lajcak's name had been found in documents related to Jeffrey Epstein's case. In 2019, the financier reportedly introduced him to an unknown contact as a friend. Furthermore, it was alleged that Jeffrey Epstein referred to Miroslav Lajcak as a
