Garegin B's Brother Will Remain in Custody
The brother of Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin B, Gevorg Nersisyan, will continue to remain in custody. The term of his detention has been extended for another two months. This was reported to 1lurer by Liana Raphaelian, spokesperson for the Criminal Courts.
It should be noted that in the enlarged community of Vagharshapat, a candidate from the 'Republic' party, Harutyun Mkrtchyan, posted on his Facebook page stating that on November 1, around 16:10, Gevorg Nersisyan had obstructed the electoral campaign of his political team in the village of Voskahat.
The Investigative Committee has announced that during the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, public criminal prosecution has been initiated against two individuals under Article 211 of the Criminal Code (coercing someone to conduct propaganda or refusing to conduct propaganda or otherwise obstructing propaganda).
