Documents Required for Konjoryan's House Transaction

The head of the National Assembly's "Civil Contract" faction, Hayk Konjoryan, and his wife purchased a house in the Arinj B neighborhood of the Abovyan community for 54 million drams in July 2024. According to "Hetq," the market value of the house is approximately 75.6 million drams, which is about 21.6 million drams higher than Konjoryan's purchase price of around 54 million drams. Furthermore, the transaction amount allows the use of income tax benefits. This information was reported by the newspaper "Zhoghovurd."

"A detailed audit began in the Armenian Anti-Corruption Committee by the end of 2025 to determine whether the contract value for the house was set for the purpose of tax benefits, or if it is considered a market transaction without corruption risks. The newspaper further clarified that, as part of the investigations, law enforcement has requested the relevant documents and contractual justifications from the construction companies from which Konjoryan purchased his residence. Thus, at this moment, the sale transaction of Konjoryan's house is under review without any official or public announcements," the newspaper wrote.
