We Will Defend Ourselves, the US Must Stop Its Provocations: Iranian President

“We believe that war and conflict do not serve the interests of any party, and we prioritize engagement and diplomacy. However, we will not hesitate to act for the purpose of self-defense,” stated Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during a phone conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

According to Iran International, Pezeshkian also commented on the US's proposal for negotiations: “If America truly seeks genuine diplomacy, it must cease its provocative actions.”
