PACE Urges Azerbaijan to Release All Armenians Detained There, Says Rubinian

Recently, in Strasbourg, the PACE adopted a resolution titled "Progress in the Monitoring Procedure of the Assembly," where in the section regarding Armenia, among other things, the Assembly expresses deep concern about "reports of plans by several church officials to seize power." In the section related to Azerbaijan, among other things, a call is made to release all Armenians detained there. This was noted by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinian.

Earlier, he had announced that he had been elected as PACE Vice-President through the quota assigned to Armenia.
