Today, a video circulated on the internet in which the grandmother of a soldier claimed, "My soldier grandson is being forced to take psychoactive drugs in the hospital." Aurora News contacted the Ministry of Defense, which responded: "In response to the publication titled 'My soldier grandson is being forced to take psychoactive drugs in the hospital,' we state that the circulated information does not correspond to reality.
The soldier was admitted to the hospital serving the military unit after being transferred from his battalion. Following a preliminary examination, due to the nature of documented health issues, he was transferred to a specialized military medical institution for further testing, treatment, and examination. Currently, the soldier is being examined and receiving treatment in a specialized department in accordance with the diagnosis, and consultations with medical specialists are organized according to medical indications.
The soldier is undergoing examinations and treatment voluntarily; no medical intervention has been carried out against his will, and medications prescribed are administered in accordance with current healthcare standards. After the necessary examinations and treatment are completed, the soldier will be presented for a military medical examination."
