The Era of Terrorism in Our Region Has Ended: Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made statements following a meeting held in Ankara. In his speech, he emphasized that dividing people based on regions, political views, origins, or voting preferences has never been part of Turkey's policy.

Commenting on the issues discussed during the meeting, he noted that the participants examined additional measures that need to be taken to ensure Turkey successfully overcomes this restless period.

Regarding the situation in Syria, Erdogan highlighted that Syria belongs to everyone—Arabs, Turkmen, Kurds, Nusayris, Sunnis, and Druze. It belongs to the entire brotherly Syrian people.

He pointed out the clear actions of the Syrian army in neutralizing terrorist groups: "The Syrian army, operating under a unified command, has successfully passed the test and carefully avoided actions that could have put it in an unfavorable position."

Recalling his phone conversation with the Syrian president, Erdogan stated, "I told President al-Shara that Turkey will always support Syria in the fight against terrorism. We will not leave the Syrian people alone."

The president concluded his speech with the following words: "The era of terrorism in our region has ended. It is necessary to fulfill the conditions of the ceasefire and full integration agreement and to avoid any further miscalculations."
