Internet Access in Iran to be Restored No Later than January 23

Internet access in Iran will be restored no later than January 23, announced Deputy Minister of Science, Technology, and Economy Hossein Afshini, as reported by TASS.

The Fars news agency quoted Hossein Afshini saying, “The internet will return to normal operations today, tomorrow, or at the latest by the end of the week.”

Earlier, on January 18, Google resumed its services in Iran following a complete shutdown of international internet access on the evening of January 8.
